What you connect

What you enter, and what you get from it.

Your mailboxes and domains stay with your email provider. MyLeadTeam signs in to send and to read replies.

  • Sending (SMTP)

    You enterThe mailbox address, the SMTP host and port, and its password or an app password.

    You getCampaign emails and your replies go from your own address, inside the mailbox's daily limit. The password is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

  • Reply reading (IMAP)

    You enterThe same mailbox's IMAP host and port.

    You getReplies are read every 5 minutes and bounce notices every 15. A reply stops that person's follow-ups, and the mailbox shows when its replies were last read.

  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365

When research looks up a company, its name or domain also goes to public lookup services: Google News (headlines), GitHub (public activity) and public DNS resolvers run by Google and Cloudflare, which also check your mailboxes' SPF, DKIM and DMARC. They receive a company name or a domain, not your account data or email content.

Checking the fit.

Do I need my own mailboxes and domains?
Yes. You connect your own mailboxes over SMTP and IMAP. They stay with your email provider, which bills them, and connected mailboxes do not count against your plan, so connect as many as you need.
How do Gmail and Outlook mailboxes connect?
With an app password over SMTP and IMAP, like any other provider. Create the app password in your Google or Microsoft account, then enter it with the host and port, and Test the mailbox.
How do I get leads into my CRM?
Export them from the Leads page as a CSV, the ones you select or all of them, and import that file into your CRM.
How does data move in and out?
As files. Contacts and your suppression list come in as CSV files; leads go out as a CSV; and an owner or admin can download the whole account as a JSON file.
Why is Stripe on the list of services?
It will handle payments once billing is switched on. Nothing is billed today, so no payment details are collected.
